Within Reach 2023 Calendar and Prayer Guide – June

ICM

Within Reach

Are you ready to read amazing stories of what God is doing around the world?

Healthy churches are changing communities. Lives are being transformed by the Gospel. Let us continue to pray for the nations together.

As we move towards our goal of reaching 25 Million Disciples for Christ, we know that empowering existing believers is just as crucial as sharing the Gospel with those who have never heard it. Healthy churches must be filled with healthy disciples who are fully equipped to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others.

This prayer calendar and journal highlights just a few of the people and projects that are blessed by your giving.

We hope you are touched by reading these testimonies from our ministry partners around the world.

All Scripture references come from the English Standard Version (ESV). *Names changed to protect identity.

"Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you." — Jeremiah 29:12

Reaching the World for Christ, One Disciple at a Time

Ialoveni Hope Center

Moldova

When ICM began building Hope Centers in Moldova, it was an incredible achievement. The country is relatively small, but its citizens are strong and proud of their identity after finding independence from the Soviet Union. Last year, when Ukrainians were fleeing for their lives when they were taken by surprise by the attacks from Russia, God revealed His amazing plan for protection and healing.

Ialoveni Hope Center in Moldova is one of many Hope Centers that responded to the Ukrainian refugee crisis. Just like the hundreds of other churches and Hope Centers across the region, the congregation opened its doors so refugees could have a place to sleep, get warm meals, and hear the Gospel. But there was something special about Ialoveni Hope Center…they also provided translations during church services so the refugees could hear God’s Word in their own language. This was a life-changing moment for many refugees. Some accepted Christ because they were so touched by the generosity and love they received.

Many non-believers in the community wanted to help the refugees as well, so they brought clothes, food, and other essentials. Because of this, the congregation had the wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel with many new people! Even in dark times, God’s love provides hope to those who are hurting.

As brothers and sisters in Christ, remember to pray for each other often.

Children are such a significant part of our lives. Even if we do not have children of our own, our friends and family members most likely have toddlers, preteens, or teenagers they are loving and caring for. This month, pray for the young people in your life. Pray that they would follow the path the Lord has for them, and that they would grow in His grace.

Prayer Requests

  • Pray that the congregation would be even more involved in evangelism.
  • Pray for God to open the hearts of the refugees staying at the Hope Center.
  • Pray that the children and teenagers who come to the Hope Center will feel welcomed there.
