Reaching the World for Christ, One Disciple at a Time

South Central Asia

Strengthened by their faith in God and the determination to keep worshipping Him, a congregation in South Central Asia is facing persecution, but they remain steadfast. In these areas, ancient religions are so deeply ingrained in the culture, anything or anyone that disagrees with those beliefs is shunned and seen as rebellious. But despite these challenges for believers, miracles are still happening in this part of the world.

Even in lands where Christianity is exceptionally rare, the Good News has reached four new villages, thanks to this congregation’s perseverance! In an incredible act of God, over 900 people were able to hear the Truth during a revival event.

While there, two people were saved and baptized. But now, because of their faith, their neighbors are persecuting these two new disciples. Please pray that they would remain strong in their faith and would not be afraid. In the midst of great difficulty, the church still faithfully hosts children’s programs, including Sunday school. While there, the children learn Bible verses and Bible stories, while also playing games and participating in educational activities. All of these programs help the children open their eyes to the Truth while they fellowship with friends. We pray that these children grow up with a deep passion for Jesus.

Wisdom and understanding are more valuable than gold and silver.

Wisdom is something we all need to pray for! Every day we face decisions to make, and of course we all want to make those decisions wisely. Is there a big decision pending in your life right now? Regardless of your situation, big or small, ask the Lord to bring you wisdom to help guide your steps.

Prayer Requests

• Pray for the people who gave their lives to Jesus and were recently baptized.
• Pray that they will be strong in testifying Jesus to their friends and neighbors.
• Pray for the villages not yet reached with the Gospel.
• Pray for revival in this area so that the church will grow increasingly for His glory.
