Building for Eternity
ICM
ICM & Hope Legacy Collective
Our partnership with Hope Legacy
Collective (HLC) goes back to 2012, when Todd Stewart—HLC’s founder and an ICM board member—joined his first Vision Trip to Colombia. That experience sparked a relationship that has now spanned more than 13 years and over 20 Vision Trips. Each journey has only deepened HLC’s commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom alongside ICM.
Why HLC Partners with ICM
Hope Legacy Collective has chosen to link arms with ICM because of a shared belief in multiplication over dependency. ICM’s model empowers local pastors and congregations to lead the work themselves, while ensuring accountability and stewardship through trusted denominational partners. Each local church secures its own land, invests in the process, and then multiplies by planting daughter congregations. Add to this ICM’s world-class Bible training and resources for pastors and lay leaders, and the result is a thriving, multiplying movement of disciples.
Impact Through Vision Trips
HLC often describes ICM’s Vision Trips as “taking a bus ride with Christ.” Every participant comes away deeply impacted—receiving far more than they give. Together, we have witnessed entire communities celebrating the dedication of permanent churches, families dedicating their children, and men and women coming to faith in Christ. These moments reflect the book of Acts, where the Spirit of God is powerfully at work among His people.
The Power of Permanent Churches and Hope Centers
HLC has seen firsthand the transformative role of permanent structures. A church building becomes a lighthouse in its community—communicating stability, hope, and God’s enduring presence. When paired with a Hope Center, the impact multiplies: children receive education and meals, families find counseling and support, and villages are knit together around a safe place of refuge. The ripple effects extend well beyond the congregation to touch the entire community.
Looking Ahead Together
After more than a decade of partnership, HLC and ICM remain confident that investing in permanent churches and Hope Centers is one of the most strategic ways to advance the gospel globally. The impact is eternal, the stewardship is wise, and the fruit is abundant. We are grateful for Todd Stewart’s vision and for Hope Legacy Collective’s steadfast commitment to building for eternity—together with ICM.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” — Mark 12:30-31
