Are you ready to read amazing stories of what God is doing around the world?
Healthy churches are changing communities. Lives are being transformed by the Gospel. Let us continue to pray for the nations together.
As we move towards our goal of reaching 25 Million Disciples for Christ, we know that empowering existing believers is just as crucial as sharing the Gospel with those who have never heard it. Healthy churches must be filled with healthy disciples who are fully equipped to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others.
This prayer calendar and journal highlights just a few of the people and projects that are blessed by your giving.
We hope you are touched by reading these testimonies from our ministry partners around the world.

Reaching the World for Christ, One Disciple at a Time
Tierra Prometida Church
The year was 1979. It was an uncomfortably humid morning, typical for the wet season in El Salvador. Six people huddled in a cramped living room, gathered for their weekly Bible study early on Sunday. Despite the tiny space, these six people were determined to worship and read the Bible together. They had no idea what God would have in store for them.
After decades of hard work and perseverance, a small group of six people grew to an entire congregation. They worked hard to spread the Gospel and raise money for a church building, which they finally completed and named Tierra Prometida Church. But a new challenge would soon arise. Unfortunately, in 2001, an earthquake completely destroyed the church building the congregation worked so hard to construct.
A great sense of discouragement washed over the entire congregation. Despite this huge setback, they remained faithful, and they knew that God had a plan. Tierra Prometida Church held services in a rented space, but as the years went on, they realized they needed a church building of their own. Thanks to generous ICM investors, their new church was finally built! Today, the congregation sees even non-believers from the community approach the church for help and encouragement in times of difficulty. Because of the support the congregation provides, they continue to win more souls for Christ.
Love is patient. Love is kind.
God’s love is the deepest, most powerful love we will ever experience. He loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die on a cross for our sins! This month, reflect on other ways God has revealed His love to you. Praise Him and thank Him for His unending love and forgiveness.
- Praise God for helping this congregation and community overcome the 2001 earthquake.
- Pray that God will provide resources for the congregation to build their pastor’s new house.
- Pray that the church’s soccer team would help children come to know Christ.
