Mexico

During the past 30 years, more than 30,000 evangelical followers of Christ have been evicted from their homes because they refused to continue traditional Mayan religious practices, which they consider idolatrous.

In spite of this persecution, however, the evangelical community is growing and in need of churches.

ICM is assisting the growth of the Church in Mexico in the southern state of Chiapas and in the coastal state of Veracruz and Tamaulipas.
