Indonesia

Conflict over religious belief is rampant even though Indonesia’s constitution guarantees freedom of religion.  In fact, atheism is outlawed and citizens must claim an affiliation.  Muslims make up 87% of the population, making it the largest Islamic country in the world!  Militant Muslim groups continually threaten Christian workers and pastors.  Many temporary shelters being used as churches have been destroyed and many Christians have been killed.  Despite this fact, churches are growing rapidly and more and more people are opening their hearts to the love of Christ.

There has never been a greater need or a greater opportunity to reach the lost in this unique and beautiful country!
