Central Asia

In many Central Asian countries, religious freedoms are constitutionally protected; however, in practice, both legislation and actions impose significant limits on religious freedom.  Islam is the predominant religion in Central Asia, and most Muslims there are Sunni.  The largest Christian denomination is the Russian Orthodox Church, with many members in Kazakhstan.

ICM began building churches in Central Asia with indigenous ministry partners in 2006.  For the safety of these people we cannot share specifics on their location.  We share with them a desire to lift Christ up by nurturing believers and assisting Church growth in their countries.  Thank you for partnering with ICM to support our Christian brothers and sisters in Central Asia!
