The people of Burkina Faso belong to two major West African ethnic groups, the Voltaic and the Mande. Other principal ethnic groups include the Fulani, Lobi, Bobo, Bissa, Gourmantche, and the Gourounsi. The Fulani are a nomadic Muslim people group, resistant to the Gospel and committed to converting others to Islam. Because of their nomadic ways, they could be a powerful force for spreading the Gospel, once they are committed to Christ.
The ministry of ICM and our Partners in the country of Burkina Faso desire to see this nation transformed by the power of Jesus Christ - their only hope for a bright future amidst these struggles.
TMBC is being tested with French and praying for funding to provide TMBC in Moore and Jula languages.
