Gobardiya

Namuna Samudayik is a Nepali word that means “an example in the community”. Most of the people belong to the Tharu Tribe. These people were bond slaves and worshiped evil spirits. In the course of sharing the Gospel the Napali Missionaries met a couple who were very poor, even though they had fertile land, and abusive to the members of the family. When the family turned to Christ wholeheartedly, God blessed them abundantly through their crops, and livestock. Other people saw the change in this family and many came to faith in Christ. In 2003 the church was founded by Pastor Tikaram. One of the believers provided a piece of land as a gift to the Lord for the church. Now they are praying for a church to be built soon.
