MegaVoice Evangelism in India
ICM's partner in India recently reported to us about the effectiveness of the MegaVoice units.
“The 15 Mega Voices we received from you we have carefully dispersed to 45 different groups. The Leaders of these groups will make sure they get around to all the churches. At least they will have one chance to hear the entire Bible teaching as a Bible survey. What a powerful tool it has been! I hear so many stories of the work of Holy Spirit in the hearts and minds of the hearers. They would actually wait for the next lesson as they meditate on the word they just heard.
Many of the church communities before they even build a church building they try to get a PA system and gas light and a musical drum. I was able to help to buy for some for the really poor congregations that barely support their pastor. I watched them use these tools tirelessly.
Now they are connecting Mega Voice to the PA system and play one lessen a day out for the whole village to hear, while the core group of leaders follow the lesson, look-up the Scripture and take notes in the room.
It has been a tremendous tool to preach the gospel with clarity and authenticity. I meet people from the church that are being nurtured and growing up in the Lord because of the teaching from the word through the mega voice. And the community is also becoming slowly transformed along with the renewing of their minds.
Hindus are not so used to explaining and teaching clearly. Hinduism is myths and stories of wars and conflicts from their sacred holy books, written in the Sanskrit language which very few know. Only the priest would and should know. One Orthodox educated Hindu man told me he is hearing and following as he gets up early morning to do his rituals. He said what refreshing it is to hear about the holy God at work in his people. He said he is following the lessons because he wants to see the end of the story. Praise God. Please pray for Him.
One government official who was born in a Hindu family is struggling with his belief and the truth of Hinduism and wanted to check up on the Biblical God. He thought the Bible seems to be an interesting book. He kept reading. Some things he could not understand. This is the best teaching he has ever heard. He said now God opened his mind to see the truth through the teachings from the mega voice broadcasts. He and his family gave their lives to the lord and attend the church regularly and are a powerful testimony in the village. Our pastors can share many more testimonies.
Our churches are multiplying and reaching to their neighborhoods and starting bible study groups. I give all the glory to God. Praise God! “
