This story details how a policeman went from persecuting Christians to pastoring to them.
In the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam, a police man was busy carrying out his typical day to day duties. One of these duties was to arrest members of his local community who were attending a certain church. One day, however, a standard arrest did not go quite as he had planned. When the policeman brought in a member of the church to the police station, he found himself unable to tell the authorities what exactly the Christian had done wrong. He literally found himself unable to talk. Amazed by this event, the policeman became curious about what was going on at the local church. He began sneaking onto the porch of the church every Sunday to listen to the service. The policeman was intrigued by the preaching inside and was powerfully affected by the songs of praise and teachings from the sermon. He eventually moved inside the church so that he could take part in the service. Today, that policeman has completely turned around his life and is now actually pastor of that exact church. While contact with foreign Christians is still quite restricted in parts of Vietnam, God is working in amazing ways inside this country as illustrated by this story.
