It was nearly two years ago that ICM decided to build church orphanages in India. A model was developed to add a second story to existing ICM-partnered one story churches in order to quickly and efficiently accommodate up to twelve orphans. The cost—only $18,000 for the entire two story building.
In late April, ICM will be visiting ten of the 58 ICM-partnered India church orphanages built or currently under construction. Along for the trip will be two Air1 listeners and their guests as part of the upcoming Air1 radio campaign scheduled on July 28. The fundraising focus for this sharathon will be church orphanages in India. Last February, two Air1 listeners were chosen to win a free vision trip to India with ICM and several donor partners. During the trip, these winners and their guests will visit completed church orphanages as well as new projects that will be sponsored through the sharathon. The last Air1 partnership was in 2006 and brought 1,000 new donor partners and helped fund nine church orphanages. Please pray for the Lord’s blessings on this vision trip and for this wonderful opportunity to partner with Air1!
