Sora Tribe India

The recent ICM Vision Trip team in India witnessed the following story about the Sora people coming to Christ.

God presented a new opportunity in India with a society known as the Sora. These people, up until about 9 years ago, did not know the Lord. Now the Sora people are following his word devotionally and literally.  The tribe offered the ICM team a humbling experience as they washed the feet of our team.

The Sora people are also rapidly bringing others to know the Lord. Recently, they held a meeting of all the Sora believers, in which 4,000 believers were able to attend. Devoted to the Lord, they are working to build several churches. Currently they worship in poorly constructed mud churches, but this does not stop them. The Sora people continue to learn and grow in God’s word. On this visit, a young Sora girl was able to translate for the ICM team. This was something that had never been done before, and a moment that filled the Sora people with great hope and delight for their future.
