Luz y Verdad Church

Luz y Verdad is the only evangelical church in the village of Granada, Colombia, and the only one within 15 kilometers. The church was started in 1970, but has grown in the last 3 years to more than 100 members and 60 children. The church was dedicated December 31, 2008. The pastor proposed to his wife to be and asked to marry him during the dedication. They were married 2 months later in February. The mayor of the town came to know Christ through the church and now the church is the center of peace in the community. The church features classes that teach sowing and also functions as the town hall.
