Evangelism in SE Asia

This story describes how one man has powerfully impacted Southern Vietnam and Cambodia.

There literally was no way to stop this Vietnamese man from preaching the word of God. This Christian man from Southern Vietnam had been arrested so many times for preaching the gospel that he was banned from his county of residence. Nevertheless, he continued to spread the gospel in surrounding areas and eventually started a weekly meeting in a small town. Another man attending the meetings was so impacted that he offered his home up for the meetings and moved to a much smaller residence. These weekly meetings now have approximately 1000 people in attendance although many attendees are forced to sit outside though and watch through the windows. The attendees have thus started constructing a real church in the area that needs additional funding.

This man did not limit his evangelistic efforts to Vietnam however. He even has begun to venture over to Cambodia to pastor to the 30,000 Vietnamese who earlier fled across the border. He recently reported to ICM that 1200 people in Cambodia have come to faith in Christ.
