Church of Hope has been waiting for a church for nearly ten years. Roughly half the Haitian population practices voodoo and 80% of the population live in poverty. While Christianity is growing in Haiti, it is primarily among the middle and upper class. Due to political unrest, threats and violence to missionaries, many have been forced to leave Haiti, making it even more critical to equip the indigenous believers with tools to spread the Gospel in unreached, remote villages.
