Pastor Tang of the Chongxing Church received healing when he gave his life to Christ, and following his newfound belief, chose to walk 10-15 kilometers to attend church services. Today, Pastor Tang leads a congregation of about 125 in a Hunan village where eighteen years ago, there was no church presence. Pastor Tang’s healing testimony moved ten local villagers to give their own lives to Christ, which then sprouted a small church group that met in his sister’s home.

Today, the church meets in a rundown building. Early last year, a serious ice storm seriously damaged their meeting place. Now, when there is windy or rainy weather, congregants are unable to meet in the church building since it is dangerously close to collapsing. They are prayerfully waiting for the Lord to provide.

ICM China partners report 10,000 people each day give their lives to Christ in China. To date, ICM has partnered to build over 279 churches in China and is now distributing TMBC in Mandarin to small groups.
