Mini Bible College

MBC materials are currently used by small groups in eight countries, including India, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and China, where local pastors and lay leaders nurture believers in their faith. 

MBC touches the lives of an estimated 350,000 believers in more than 24,000 organized groups around the globe. 

The audio lessons are also broadcast via radio in 14 major world languages to a potential listening audience of four million people. MBC materials are available in other languages which are distributed in non-broadcast ways.

In 2009, ICM launched a major initiative to create language-specific web pages for each of the 26 MBC languages allowing the bible study materials to be found and accessed on the Internet by millions in their own heart language.

This initiative will also enable ICM’s international partners to access the audio and printed materials on an as-need basis for free listening or download, decreasing dependence on ICM to supply materials in hard-copy formats.
 
In October, we began offering Spanish MBC on oneplace.com.  Three months later, we are happy to share that there were more than 4,000 page views, with visitors listening to 9,013 different teachings. In addition, approximately 6,500 audio files of the teachings were downloaded.
  
Last year, by God’s grace, the Chinese government approved the production and distribution of MBC materials … there has been an overwhelming positive response from believers in China who desire to have a systematic bible study in Mandarin.  ICM has committed to provide MBC materials for 8,000 small groups in China by the end of 2012.

Of course, the opportunities for expanding distribution of Mini Bible College are still great. In 2010, we are planning further work on materials for Tanzania, Ukraine, Haiti, Indonesia, Cambodia and Arabic countries.
