Africa

In 2009 alone, ICM was able to complete 52 churches in 20 countries on the continent of Africa.

To date, God has used ICM’s friends and partners to provide approximately 125,000 square feet of space for worship, prayer, teaching and ministry in countries including: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

This outreach allows God to use ICM powerfully, touching the lives of more than 10,000 believers in this vast land.

Last year, we were able to begin building the first evangelical church on the Sinai Peninsula, providing congregations in Egypt a place to gather and grow as the Body of Christ.

ICM also had the opportunity to test potential partnerships with nine new, indigenous ministries in Africa by introducing them to Mini Bible College.

In villages of East and West Africa where illiteracy rates are often extremely high, there is a tremendous need for audio bible teaching materials ...and Mini Bible College is meeting that critical need! The needs are great, but the opportunities to minister to the people of Africa are even greater.

In 2010, ICM plans to expand the number of churches and church based orphanages in Kenya, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.  We anticipate the completion of a “Christian Center Compound” in Burkina Faso, West Africa. In addition to a sanctuary and orphanage, this compound will offer facilities for vocational instruction and pastoral training with implications for church growth in the surrounding 14 countries.
