Church Building
As we entered 2009, ICM had as our first priority to honor the financial commitments to our international partners for the 615 churches already under construction as the year began.
By God’s grace, not only were construction payments for each project maintained on schedule, but we were able to begin construction on an additional 206 churches by year’s end. At the close of 2009, ICM had under construction 378 churches in primarily rural settings in 53 countries.
ICM “assists in Church growth worldwide” by forming Church Growth Partnerships, in mostly third-world countries.
Through these partnerships, Church buildings are constructed, Church growth principles are taught, and believers are nurtured.
To work closely with these Partnerships and to better enable us to inspect the Partnerships’ work, ICM has ‘divided’ the world into three parts:
* Africa
* Caribbean, Central & South America
* Europe & Asia
A Director of Partnership Review is assigned to and has responsibility for each territory, traveling to visit the work and strengthen the Partnership.
