This past year ICM had the opportunity to witness God’s provision and His power, despite a world-wide economic downturn.

We were reminded of God’s truth that He often alters human resources, as He did with Gideon, so we depend totally on resources He provides. In 2009, we watched in amazement as current friends and supporters continued to send in “God-dependent” resources. We also witnessed God raise up new donor partners from all over the U.S.—people who made generous and sacrificial gifts to fulfill the Great Commission.
 
This kingdom giving enabled us to proceed with key initiatives that allowed us to minister to hundreds of thousands of believers, while giving all the glory to God alone!
 
However, God also calls us to use wisdom—to look and plan ahead, and take appropriate action in order to be good stewards of the resources He entrusts to us.
 
Therefore, with an understanding that giving to the ministry might decrease in the short term, ICM made prayerful and thoughtful reductions in our operating expenses as we entered 2009. We sensed God leading us to more fully explore and implement cost-effective technologies, and to focus on improving the overall efficiency of our operating procedures.
 
By the Grace of God, I am happy to report that we were able to far exceed what we had hoped to accomplish in 2009. We were reminded once again of Pastor Dick Woodward’s Four Spiritual Secrets:
 
     I’m not, but He is, and I’m in Him and He is in me.
     I can’t but He can, and I’m in Him and He is in me.
     I don’t want to, but He wants to, and I’m in Him and He is in me.
     I didn’t, but He did, because I am in Him and He is in me.
 
We are deeply grateful for those of you who partnered with ICM in prayer and resources in 2009.  I encourage you to read and listen to the full details of each program of ICM which are included in this Annual Report. I trust it will be a blessing.
