From a Simple Vision - The First 25 Years

When a person is restored to God they change responsibility, compassion, conscience – all begin to align with God’s purpose for us as His children. When enough lives in a community are impacted, the community begins to change - productivity increases, crime drops, families stabilize. And as communities transform, nations are changed. It is a bold statement that we are changing nations. It is of course not ICM but God who is doing so. Throughout this year, we will be adding remarkable stories which demonstrate how God is changing nations through the people, pastors and partners working side by side with ICM around the world

1984
Filming of Mini Bible College Survey as taught by Pastor Dick Woodward is completed and broadcast begins on local radio and television.

1986
Mission and vision of ICM begin to unfold.
- International broadcast of MBC begins.
- Church building program begins in India.

1993
ICM integrates the “web concept” for planting daughter congregations into the church growth model.

1996
Church construction expands into China, DR Congo, India, Russia, Ukraine, and Zimbabwe.

1999
MBC broadcast in 13 languages in 14 major countries.

2000
ICM celebrates 1,000 churches built or under construction around the world!

2005
Audio and print Targeted Mini Bible College (TMBC) for small groups is launched internationally.

2006
ICM celebrates 2,000 churches built or under construction!

2008
3,000 churches built or under construction!

2009
Strategic decision made to broaden distribution and enhance ICM and MBC on Internet.

TODAY
Systematic teaching from God's word delivered to a potential audience of several billion people in 26 languages in 58 countries.

Opportunity Ahead - The Next 25 Years


What will the world look like twenty five years from now? It has been suggested by futurists that the 21st century will be equivalent to the last 20,000 years of progress based on today’s rate of change. Using a proven strategy of process and partnership, and leveraging any means of technology available, a changing world will only mean more opportunity for ICM. Until Christ returns, ICM will remain on the mission of restoring lives to Him and assist in building His Church. We have a bold vision for the next 25 years - that God will change nations. We want to be part of that and we hope you’ll join us.
